A new method of rune cultivation has taken over the Elden Ring

Since the Elden Ring has linked a level-up system directly to its currency, Runes, it’s no wonder that players are figuring out all the ways of their cultivation methods. From killing a specific horde in Caelid to eliminating one dragon for 80,000 runes, there are many ways to quickly gain currency in the lands in between. However, none of them could be said to be more efficient than those recently discovered in the deep rooted depths.

The Deeproot Depths is an underground location that can only be accessed after defeating the Starscourge Radahn at Caelid. Once you get there, you will need to kill a certain enemy again and again to earn thousands of runes in just a few minutes. This can change your character and let you upgrade any weapon or Spirit Ash easily.

Once you reach deeproot at Grace’s starting location, head straight ahead. There will be a small Erdtree avatar on your left, which is optional, and some big roots in front of you are dead. You have to take Torrent carefully along these roots and make your way to the other side of the island.

If you have done so successfully, keep tracing the roots until you reach the center of Nameless Eternal City. You can get to a couple of Grace’s locations here, but we recommend going to the one on the northwest side, called The Nameless Eternal City, shown below.

This blessing location will be your quick travel point when you are done killing the enemies you need. Speaking of them, you need to kill the statue-like enemies that are scattered in the city. One was found off the main road at ground level while the other was found above the sunken church in front of the site of Grace in which it rested.

However, most of them are located on the rooftops of buildings overlooking the roof. You need to ride Torrent up from the roots and onto these buildings to kill the gnomes. They take almost no time to kill and are stunned after a few hits. If you stand in front of them, they will breathe fire.

Each of these Statues you kill will earn approximately 3,500 Runes each. There are about five to six statue enemies in the city, and they are all within a reasonable range of each other. If you kill them all within 2 minutes, you will win around 17,000 Runes. If you do this for an hour, you can win over 200,000 Runes.
