Better counters, vulnerabilities and more

Starting November 23, 2022, Pokemon GO trainers can participate in the Astral Eclipse event. During this time, Hisuian Braviary will appear as a 3-star raid boss.

The Psychic/Flying Pokemon was first introduced in Pokemon Legends: Arceus and was one of the Hisui region creatures introduced to Pokemon GO.

Since he would arrive as a raid master soon, now was the time to confront Hisuian Braviary and seize the opportunity to capture him. However, to get the best results in a raid, trainers must use the appropriate Pokémon to go against.

Many Pokémon are able to encounter and defeat Hesoyan Braviari in Pokémon Go, expanding on the options players have when assembling their teams.

Trainers can use Dark, Electric, Ice, Ghost, and Rock-type Pokemon and move to counter Hisuian Braviary in Pokemon GO

As a 3-star raid boss, Hisuian Braviary will have a higher amount of health than his standard counterpart. However, it should fall easily once it takes constant super effective damage.

The 3-star raid boss does not get the massive boosts that higher-level raid bosses do, such as the 5-star, 6-star, Elite, and Mega Raid bosses. Once Hisuian Braviary has fallen, it’s time to collect the rewards and enter the encounter to catch the flying creature.

Hisuian Braviary doesn’t have much application in PvE or PvP battles due to its sub-optimal stats and ineffective moves. However, it has high quality stamina stats. This means it can perform decently as a gym defender, so trainers in Pokemon GO can use it to collect Pokecoins.

Otherwise, unless the player is at a standstill when using it in battle, Hisuian Braviary is captured mostly to fill in the Pokedex.

If Pokemon GO players don’t mind repeating the raid a few times in Pokemon GO, they might be lucky enough to encounter the brilliant Hisuian Braviary. While this form does not improve its ability in battle, it is a great looking Pokémon form and a suitable creature to add to your Shiny collection. The choice is up to the players.

Hisuian Braviary will be available as a raid leader until Astral Eclipse ends on November 28, 2022.
