Dying Light 2 Stay Human will be available on Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S on February 4, 2022.
Game Pass is one of the biggest advantages of owning an Xbox system these days. The monthly subscription service sees loads of games available at no extra charge on the first day.
However, it doesn’t look like Dying Light Stay 2 Human will be available to Game Pass users at launch. Xbox users will have to buy the new Dying Light like everyone else.
Dying Light 2 Stay Human will not be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch
The zombie-themed action thriller has been optimized for Xbox Series X | S, but it will still be available on the last generation of consoles, such as the Xbox One and Xbox One S.
In fact, those who purchase the Xbox One version will be allowed to upgrade to the Xbox Series X version | S at no cost, if they find themselves with the new console.
However, some players may wait for it to arrive at Game Pass instead of picking up the game right away. That’s the beauty of Game Pass. It will probably end there eventually.
Although Dying Light 2 was announced during the Xbox 2018 conference at E3, there was no announcement or plan in place for it to hit Game Pass right away.
Techland, the developer, has an emerging relationship with Microsoft and its game subscription service. Both Dead Island and Dead Island: Riptide have recently been added to Game Pass.
This gives hope that Dying Light and Dying Light 2 Stay Human may be heading to Game Pass at some point in the future. Lots of games are making their way onto the service, so there’s no reason to believe this game won’t.
Nothing is guaranteed in the games, though, unfortunately. The one thing that’s certain about Stay Human on Game Pass is that it won’t be there from the start. Players will have to buy them the old fashioned way.
