“We have implemented some urgent fixes over the weekend and will continue to add more in the coming days,” he tweeted. “Thank you for your incredible support and patience.”

The patch looks to address looming issues arising from the launch, with challenging crash fixes, performance improvements, and fixes for weak collaborative stability. Platform-specific changes also include a fix for PlayStation 5 flashing, allowing 60 FPS + VRR mode on Xbox Series X, and DLSS improvements on PC. The full list of Dying Light 2 fixes, expected to arrive throughout the week of February 7, is as follows:

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is Techland’s latest open-world zombie series, featuring a large open world built for combat and streamlined parkour. With a zombie outbreak driving humanity to extinction, players find themselves caught in a factional struggle and an ongoing struggle for survival.

“Dying Light 2 really shines with its high-stakes nocturnal gameplay, which turns the modern and exhausting open-world formula on its head,” our senior editor, Jez Corden, stated in our Dying Light 2: review. “While some of the writing isn’t the best and the performance of the next-gen console is a bit disappointing, Dying Light 2 delivers a tight experience based on the original.”
