Flareon is a Fire Evolution from Eevee, and trainers can pick up or evolve him to add to complete his entry in Pokédex of Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
There are 242 Pokemon players can catch Pokemon Legends: ArceusInstructors can obtain all eight Eevee Evolutions, including the Flareon, and Fire-type Eeveelution. Besides Jolteon and Vaporeon, Flareon was one of the three original Eeveelutions introduced in Gen I alongside the Eevee, and coaches can pick up all these classic fan favorites in the old Hisui area. However, the easiest way to get a Flareon is to evolve one from an Eevee, which spawns more commonly than any of its evolved forms in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
Of all the Eeveelutions, Flareon has the highest attack stat, making him the most powerful physical attacker in the group. However, most of the Fire-type moves that Flareon can learn are special attacks, making them a versatile attack team member. Being a Fire type, Flareon is resistant to Fire, Grass, Bug, Steel, Ice, and Fairy type attacks, but is weak against water, rock, and land types.
To catch Flareon, Pokemon Legends: Arceus Players will have to wait for a “space-time distortion” to appear in the Crimson Mirelands or Cobalt Coastlands map area. This was because Flareon could only be found in these purple pocket dimensions and was not scattered anywhere throughout Hisui’s outer world. Since it is so rare, players may need to research several distortions of spacetime before encountering one. However, Eevee can be found more frequently in these dimensional divisions, giving players the opportunity to evolve Flareon instead.
How does Flareon evolve in Pokémon Legends: Arceus
In addition to spawning in Space-Time Distortions throughout every area of Hisui, Eevee can be found at several locations in Pokemon Legends: Arceus overworld as well. For example, players may encounter Eevee in the Horseshoe Plains in Obsidian Fieldlands relatively early in the game if they are lucky, but Eevee can also be found in the Crossing Slope in Cobalt Coastlands as well as Avalugg’s Legacy and the Alabaster avalanche slopes in the Irelands. However, Eevee is a very rare spawn outside of Space-Time Distortions, so Trainers will likely have better luck taking on Eevee by waiting for a Distortion to appear.
Trainers can evolve an Eevee into Flareon by giving her a Fire Stone, which can be obtained in several different ways in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Fire stones have the chance to appear within Time and Space Abnormalities along with other Evolution items, but trainers can also purchase a Fire Stone from the Trade Center in Jubilife Village for 1,000 Merit Points. Instructors will also be given a choice between a Fire Stone, Water Stone, and Thunder Stone when they complete Order 52, “Evy Evolutions”.
