Catching wind races in Pokemon Legends: Arceus requires a lot of skill and maybe several attempts.
This new title somehow manages to blend action adventure with typical Pokemon gameplay. As such, there are many movement mechanisms, mostly during battles with nobles.
The three wind genes (along with a new fourth one) can be captured in this game, but in order to do so, the trainers will have to complete some rather challenging objectives.
Tips to catch legendary pokemon
After catching Giratina, Cogito assigns the player a task to capture the three wind genes of Unova (Landorus, Thundurus and Tornadus). If the trainer picks up all three and fills in a Pokedex entry on all of them, he will be able to capture Enamorus.
However, the battle with both of these Legends is the least of the coaches’ fears. They are all waiting at a certain point in an area of Hisui, and if the coaches try to interact with them, they will flee and throw small tornadoes behind them to prevent the player from chasing.
This, as one can imagine, is very annoying. There are two strategies, though, that players can use to make it a little easier.
First of all, here is the location of each wind gen:
- Landorus: Ramanas Island, Obsidian Lands
- Thundurus: On the sea, near the double pods after Sand’s Reach, Cobalt Coastlands
- Tornados: In the middle of Punchille’s waste, Alabaster Islands
- Enamorus: Scarlett Pugh, Crimson Marylands
To chase these legendary ones, coaches can run on foot or jump on a Wyrdeer. Coaches will need to pay attention, because rushing a Wyrdeer with the B button is pretty much a recipe for disaster. Coaches would get many hurricanes if they did.
